Statement of Faith

1. The Scriptures, in the original autographs,  are the inerrant, inspired, word of God, and the final authority in all matters of faith and conduct.

2. There is one living and true God, eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

3. Jesus Christ existed eternally with the Father prior to His incarnation. He was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life on this earth. He paid the penalty for the sins of all men with His own blood on the cross. He arose bodily from the grave and ascended into Heaven, where He now intercedes for His own as their great High Priest.

4. The Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. At conversion He regenerates, indwells, seals, and baptizes the believer into the body of Christ. As a saint yields in submission to the authority of Christ and obedience to the Word of God, he is filled with the Holy Spirit, who enables the believer to live a new life, free from the bondage of sin, and to increasingly be conformed to the image of Jesus Christ. As He wills, the Holy Spirit gives spiritual gifts and empowerment for spiritual service.

5. Man was created in the image of God, yet in Adam he fell because of disobedience and rebellion against God. The resulting judgment was physical and spiritual death, which is separation from God. All mankind, then having inherited a sinful nature, has become sinful in thought, word, and deed.

6. The Church is comprised of all true believers. She is the Bride of Christ, and exists to glorify Him by being the living expression of His will on earth.

7. The resurrection of the dead is the great promised blessing of the justified who at the coming of Christ will enter into everlasting life and blessedness. The ungodly await bodily resurrection at the Great White Throne to judgment and everlasting punishment in the lake of fire.
